Killzone Photos

Yesterday morning, I had some fun with the camera -imagining various clandestine encounters and re-enacting a few others from memory. Today, I processed a few of those in hopes that more than one or two will serve in the "final" version of Killzone that should be released imminently. Fingers crossed. With regard to those photos, well, I let those speak for themselves.

These are a few of my favorites, but there's more in store. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Absolutely love the blood spatter on the models in the last photo, and love the two in the tower.

I'm ashamed to say that I don't know what any of those units are.

Noob alert!

The Necron pic is my personal fave, for that layered sneekiness and the swirl of a skirmish.

And if you thought space hulks were bad places to be already, it seems there is worse...

Looking very nice, b.! My favorite is the one of the guys in the tower, I enjoy imagining the sorts of conversations those two would be having up there. I hope some of your cool photos end up in the finished version of Killzone, I'm sure it will be tough deciding which to use. You could probably fill a whole booklet just with shots from the Sin of Alacrity... hmm, a Killzone campaign supplement, perhaps?

@ Da Cheef. I know. I know. I had considered a similar but reversed version of this photo, but realized that it would be completely wrong.

@ Atreyu. haha. No worries mate. The last photo is of a couple OOP wracks. To be candid, I don't remember what they used to call them before. I painted them a few years ago for the love of their quirkiness.

@ Porky. Cheers. I was really trying to develop a kind of narrative in that one.

@ Pappa JJ. Alacrity campaign supplement... now you've done it. haha. Thanks for the support. The killzone books are packed with photos that will be quite familiar to regular readers.

Weren't they called grotesques?

I dig the pic of the storm troopers and the orks. The depth in that particular picture really speaks to me.

Good call. I forgot that Grotesques became much more, well, grotesque in the current iteration, while these poor fellows got demoted to Wrack. That was going to drive me crazy.
